FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Appointments take place on the same day and time each week.​

  • The length of treatment is dependent on the issue(s) you bring to counselling and on your progress. After six weeks, you and your counsellor will review the sessions, but we advise that you continue until you have resolved your concern.

  • At the initial meeting, you and your counsellor will share relevant information about each other with the focus being on you. You will both decide the regularity of the appointments, your goals, and the boundaries for the sessions and sign a contract in agreement.

  • What you and your counsellor discuss in therapy remains confidential in line with BACP's ethical guidelines and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).

  • Select a day and time on the calendar and make a payment 24 hours before the session to secure the space. Alternatively, send an email via the contact form to book an appointment and you will be contacted about the next steps.

  • Therapy sessions are paid for by bank transfer and credit card online.

  • Individual sessions are £80.00 per 50 minutes.

    Joint sessions are £130.00 per 50 minutes.

    There is the option of accessing my service free by EAP through Workplace Options or AXA.

  • The duration of a therapy session is 50 minutes.

  • You are required to give 24 hours’ notice when cancelling an appointment as you will be charged the full cost.​

  • If you are late, you will be able to use the time remaining and finish at the time agreed.
